Take a break in our tea room
Take a relaxing break in our welcoming tearoom, serving a selection of hot and cold food and drinks. It’s the perfect place to refuel and unwind during your sanctuary visit.
Time to play
Let little adventurers enjoy our children’s play area, with space to climb, slide and explore. You’re welcome to bring your own picnic and enjoy our covered picnic area nearby too.
Visitor Guidance
Parking
There is a free car park on site for visitors use.
Accessibility
The site is step-free and reasonably level with gravel paths between aviaries, enclosures and buildings.
Dogs
As a zoo-licensed property, we cannot allow dogs or other pets on site except for assistance dogs by prior arrangement.
Smoking/Vaping
The Sanctuary is a smoke-free zone in the interests of the health of our animals. Smoking/vaping is only allowed in the main car park.
Picnics
Visitors are welcome to bring their own picnics. We have a covered picnic area by the playground and picnic tables around the site.
Litter
Discarded litter can be an issue for our animals. We encourage recycling on site and politely request that you dispose of all waste appropriately in the bins provided.
